From Al Nahda with Love

Founded in the vibrant neighborhood of Al Nahda, MomoStreet was born from a deep longing for the authentic, smoky, and spicy flavors of the Himalayas. We noticed a gap in Dubai's diverse culinary landscape: the true soul of mountain street food.

What started as a small passion project among friends has grown into one of Dubai's most beloved destinations for foodies seeking the real taste of Kathmandu and Tibet. Every dumpling we serve tells a story of heritage, spice, and the warmth of Himalayan hospitality.

Our team of dedicated chefs — many trained in Kathmandu and Lhasa — bring authentic techniques and recipes that have been passed down through generations.

2018
MomoStreet is Born
Opened our first tiny kitchen in Al Nahda 2, serving just 5 types of momos from a 10-seat counter.
2019
The Jhol Revolution
We introduced our signature Jhol Momo to Dubai — the first restaurant in the UAE to serve it authentically. Lines formed around the block.
2020
Surviving & Thriving
Launched delivery service during the pandemic. Our community kept us alive and we kept bringing them comfort food.
2022
Expanded Menu
Grew from 20 to 100+ menu items, added Himalayan sides, desserts, and our beloved Thukpa soup.
